  22. I hate to interfere, but I thought I`d just mention this:

  24. ProGrab 24RT Plus is a 24bit Parallel/PCMCIA (!) realtime digitizer for
  25. the Amiga. RRP in the UK is 129,95  - it grabs directly from your VCR
  26. (also S-VHS), TV, Satellite Tuner, Camera (no expensive TBC output needed),
  27. grabs various resolutions (memory permitting), grabs various colour depths
  28. up to 24bit, 16.8 million colours (why do you NA people keep spelling that
  29. way???), plugs into your standard parallel port or optionally through the
  30. PCMCIA interface which speeds up the grabbing (especially video-sequences)
  31. up to 5 times than through the parallel port!

  35. The software is all ready & running and comes with the hardware (obviously).
  36. It`s in its 2.5.x version and supports saving/loading of many different
  37. graphic file formats (IFF,IFF24,JPPEG,BMP,PCX & TARGA), it saves whole
  38. animations as ANIM5 files and animations with sound (! - requires a sound
  39. sampler) are saved as ANIM5 + 8SVX files. There`s direct support for ProGrab
  40. in the Photogenics software as well, which let`s you grab images directly
  41. from Photogenics.

  43. Add to that, support for Virtual Memory, Teletext facilities, large preview
  44. window and support for composite PAL, SECAM and NTSC formats...
  45.  
  46. And in practice... it delivers great quality images with the minimum of
  47. effort!
